So I went to the Creating Wealth Summit seminar this morning. It was to make us "financially educated" and give us key tips on how to become a millionaire, the Trump way. The speakers were Bob Kittell, Robert Blughm, Ivanka Trump, Wayne Gray, James Smith, and David Craig. I learned about investing in stock and real estate tips. If I decide to invest in either of those activities, I know what to look for and what a good deal would comprise of.

I left halfway through the real estate lecture and went to Midtown. I parked at a hotel somewhere and walked to the Botanical Gardens. The plants were beautiful, and so was the day. After that I went attempted to go to SCAD but I missed it [like five blocks from where I parked >:( ] and went so far down Peachtree I ended up at Oglethorpe :/. After turning around at Ashford-Dunwoody/Roswell Road I made it back to Peachtree when I recieved a phone call from my parents. They were very angry that I had went on such a day with all that was going on. I wasn't really bothered by traffic or anything because I had nothing but time, and I now know where stuff is down in Midtown. Granted I never been to Atlanta alone, nor did I know where I was going. I tend to do that- just drive around. I got kindof lost but I recognized some roads to get me home.

Yesterday after class I got adventurous and decided I'd take a trip down 41 to see where it led. I have this habit of getting curious and just driving down a road until it ends or until I need to get back to do something.
While driving I saw a sign that said Rome 25 so I took a detour through Cartersville to Rome. It is so beautiful out there. I went to Berry College and just drove around. A lady told me that it is the biggest campus in the world, and it most definitely is. There is so much acreage you have to drive to the buildings. I have to give my props to Martha Berry for building such a beautiful school and her ambition to help educate all those children [back in her time]. I made sure I saw everything on that campus. The animals, the scenery, everything was wonderful. I was impressed.
I also went to Georgia Highlands, which resembled a highschool, and Shorter College which looked kind of small aswell. I shopped around Rome too.
On my way home I decided to take 75 and ofcourse, like I always do on 75, I got on the wrong way and couldn't turn around until I got to Adairsville. Finally turned around, got some ColdStone in Cobb, and headed home.
The half a tank of gas was worth it.

So I have actually socialized somewhat this week.

Monday after school I visited Melissa for three or four hours and she came with me to get my tongue pierced.
I am going to miss that woman like no other.

Teusday I went to the Banners house, grabbed Ej, and went to the China buffet, as usual. Amazing.

Thursday, visited again, played some DDR, went to the mall. And I met Cherise's new boyfriend, Ian. He seems nice but he was sick so we couldn't really say much to eachother. Noah called! He's coming down from north georgia [tennessee line] to visit at my call.

Yesterday I went to school, got my eyebrows waxed and got a bikini wax of dooom. Visited the Banners AGAIN. Me and Joseph made pancakes and downloaded music for a couple hours. I went to cash my check [finally, money] and went to Publix. Saw Josh Addison working and had a fifteen minute conversation with him about nair, my bikini wax, his nair experiences and him getting his butt waxed, etc. Very random. Saw Abbie outside eating as well. Went home and got a drunken depressed call from Noah while I was getting in the shower. Got out of the shower to my phone ringing. Talked to EJ and Joseph about Joseph's girl problems and how he is going to murder some guy if he comes to his house [no, really, he WILL murder him. If you know Joseph, you know I am totally serious]. He kept talking about how he was going to gut him and leave a trail of his intestines from his house to his ex-girlfriends house, and how he was going to cut his head off [he had previously shown me a video of some terrorists cutting off a hostage's head, uncut and uncensored, in which he laughed the entire time]. He was really angry and was going through his knife drawer and talking about knives and stuff. Actually I do remember hearing that when him and Jeremiah got into an argument Joseph pulled a knife on him and almost killed him. I worry about my friends sometimes.

Today I saw Torrie sitting in a corner while at Kennesaw and we chatted it up for a while. What''s it been, like three years since I've seen her? She was as shocked as I was. She JUST moved back from Indiana in December.

I really need to step up on my school work. It is so bad now, I forgot about my online Midterm Exam today in Economics and had to do it during class [I got a 70, which I think is pretty good for rushing]. I am really hoping I don't bomb this year. I think that taking this many classes may be burning me out or something because I CANNOT focus. I bought some Ginkgo Biloba [vitamin for memory and alertness] and I am really hoping it works. All the other vitamins I have been taking have been working fine.

As for this weekend, I went to Lauren's dorm and spent the night. Met a few of her friends, saw Daddy's Little Girl [which is really good, by the way] and went to Glady's Chicken and Waffle restaraunt.

I took my gauges out too. I saw a picture of myself, became disgusted, and removed them.

So, today I took Jeremiah to go get his new car and drove it home for him [he has no license, permit, or ability to operate a vehicle]. On the ride back he asked me if I wanted to go on a cruise with him! Not to many catches, like a $100 payment for a few things, and that's it. But then I remembered my dad mentioning that him and my mother are going to Europe this spring and they wanted to know if I was going? Idk if I can. The only time I have off from school is March 3-9 [spring break] and they're planning on going sometime in April, right around when finals are. On the other hand, the cruise is whenever and the date just needs to be set a month ahead :)
My parents better let me go on a cruise damnit lol. My mom actually laughed at the idea when I mentioned it, so that shows where she stands.

That almost makes it sound like I go to Europe or on cruises all the time and I don't really need to worry about it cause I got it like that. EUROPE!? ARE YOU KIDDING?! I would love NOTHING more than to go to Europe. And who can afford a week cruise in Florida? Definitely NOT me. Two things I don't want to pass up are right in front of me, battling.

Oh, if I can't make the cruise, JB says the offer extends to you, Ashley. You could probably use a cruise right now more than me anyway.

Jacqui's baby shower was great. I'm pretty sure everybody that she invited showed up, including all of her family. She got LOTS of gifts, clothes, whatnot. All pink, ofcourse. What happened to greens, yellows, and purples?? Ah well.

When I got there, there was about 20 cars in the drive way and around the house. I went in, and there is this room with a bunch of chairs with all kinds of people sitting in a big circle. Why so formal, I do not know. Dustin was upstairs asleep because he had been sick and throwing up this morning. So I went upstairs to bother him. He woke up and with the most excited voice you can have when you are doused with tiredom, he greeted me and hugged me. I was pleased. I made him come downstairs because, evidentually, none of the rest of Jacquis family had actually met the father. That suprised me because I got there at about four oclock and he's been there all month.

We played lots of little baby shower games and I won a few things, ofourse. For some reason I'm really good at winning little games and stuff. We ate lots of cake, chex mix, paradoe [sp?], and a few other things. Jacqui's stomach is about to explode but she is still carrying on. She drives EVERYWHERE, won't let anyone carry anything for her, and she is basically handling her own. She's like "I got this". Her mom was like "you really shouldn't be driving around two weeks before you are due, its kind of dangerous; You're taking a risk driving to school everyday [twenty minute drive]". Jacqui wasn't hearing it.

I saw a few people I haven't seen in a very long time. It was good.

so, over the early summer cherise [jeremiah's sister that I'm constantly with] had gotten a myspace, and in turn, just like her mother, started meeting guys online. well, the first guy she met was EJ [20]. he lived in acworth, and one day he decides that he is going to visit the Banner's house and meet her. Well, turns out in the end, he becomes our little group's main homie, and even becomes Lauren's first boyfriend. weird how that works. anyway, so we [me lauren cherise jeremiah joseph whoever] started going over to his house, regularly. he'd always have his bestfriend shane [19] and shanes friend Marcus [20] [who lived with him]. So, we were hanging out all the time at EJ's house. I developed a little bond and a little crush on Marcus, the funny, quite, skater dude. Did I have a chance? no. I love skaters, duh. That was that. I really didn't get into it much because hey, it's just a little crush. And, at the time, i think I was in the middle of getting something started with patrick dowd [don't ask, please], had recently broken up with angel and he began to stalk me [and had people keeping watch on me, so I had to be careful cause I didn't need any murders on my behalf], and was starting to like jason too, maybe. something like that. anyway, i find out that marcus is dating this gorgeous british girl [15]. so, in turn, i block out my feelings for him to protect myself; I ALWAYS end up liking someone that is taken. forreal. Well, he starts texting me regularly. Everyday, for a while. Then once a week. Then once every two weeks or so. This goes on for the next hmm... four months. he actually just texted me last night. the first couple of weeks of it was alright, but i knew he was just trying to get into my pants because his friends basically asked him, and he is known to be a cheater. so, after a while i stopped answering his text messages, and basically ignored him. but for the next three months, he STILL texts me, and never recieves and answer. and I didn't message him on myspace or anything.

last night, he sends me a myspace message, and it goes like this:
"Ok so its one of those nights outside where cant help but think of things, i was having a cigg and just thinking to myself. I was actually thinking up this long thing to type to you but i decided it would be better to maybe just say it to you in person, but the just of it all was that i have realized that im crushing on you pretty hard. I dont know, i like to tell people what im feeling, and thats what im feeling about you. Im sorry if this annoys you or makes things akward but im a risk taker, i like to live on the edge huh? Well you have a goodnight. Later."

it kind of startled me because i LITERALLY have not talked or interacted with him in three months. so i sent him a message, and it goes like this:
"aww i really appreciate that! i really do love when people are straight up and tell what they feel, really. So I'll be honest; I'm not feeling the same way. I had a big crush on you way back in the beginning when we were first hanging out and whatnot, but when I discovered you had a girlfriend already, I had to eliminate those feelings inorder to protect myself; I always end up liking someone that is taken, and it's never good. It's cool if you don't have a girl now or anything, but those feelings aren't there anymore to be obtained. That probably sounds a little weird, but it's just something I do. Once I block it out, I don't always get it back. I'm sorry :/

I still think you're cool though and you should definitely hook me up with some info on your clothing line. I'd love to be a model for it, if you need one."

[he runs a clothing line, and three other businesses.]

Was I wrong?

I mean, I truly don't like him anymore and that is the reason. Ahhh I really don't like saying no to people, but it's something I gotta do. Oh well.

TWELVE HOUR CAR RIDE = THIS.

So, my holiday was excellent.
I convinced my parents to drive to Maryland so we could spend Thanksgiving with our family, many of which I hadn't seen in six or seven years, and I felt it was necessary since me moving across the earth would further limit my visits with them.
Twelve hours there, twelve hours back, through the night, through the day, four tanks of gas, and cold weather. Driving at night through the country and through the mountains is wonderful; there are no lights out there, and I could see every constellation in the sky. I followed the Big [or little] Dipper all the way there and all the way home.
I have learned that my family is very dysfunctional and screwed, as are many families. Lots of drugs, gangs, bad boyfriends and fathers, children problems; the usual. I love every single person in my family. When we arrived we were amidst a war between two parts of the family, and we had to work our way through each of them to see them. We found a way.

My cousin has a beautiful baby daughter who smiles and giggles so much you would think her cheeks would start hurting but either they don't or she just smiles through the pain. The baby's father is in jail on thirteen charges of various things and has basically ruined my cousin's life. My uncle had to get all of his teeth pulled, probably because of all the drugs he does, but his dentures look great and they definitely brighten up his face. My brothers son is the most beautiful mixed child and you just want to hug him, but he is very very violent, and it is starting to worry his parents and the rest of the family. He is only three years old and he already challenges his father.

My birthday was Friday. The big one-eight. I stayed at my brothers house and whilst I was out visiting my friend who I've known since I was five and had not seen in about eight years, the family baked me a cake and suprised me [but not so much] when I got back. A nice red velvet cake. They promptly fed me liquor all night that I didn't want, but drank anyway because it was strawberry and I have a weakness for anything strawberry.

I feel old already. I have lots to do this week; lots of studying, meetings, working, testing, whatnot. I can't wait.

[edit]When I say "brother" I mean my first cousin Corey [my aunts son], who lived with my parents and I for many years and whom my father practically raised. I am, in fact, an only child.[/edit]
